How upgrading works
Install GitPersona
Download the app or the CLI and start on Free right away. No account needed.
Sign in with your email
In Settings → Account, or with gitpersona login. Type the 6-digit code we email you. No password.
Pay on a secure page
Pick a plan in the app. Checkout opens in your browser on DOKU's hosted payment page.
Pro unlocks
Back in the app, open Settings → Account (or run gitpersona plan) and Pro is active for the desktop app and CLI.
Free Pro for students and open source
Students and maintainers of active open-source projects will get Pro at no cost. Applications open when Pro launches.

Do I need an account?
Not for Free. Free works signed out and fully offline. You only sign in, with a one-time code sent to your email, to start a trial or buy Pro.
What counts toward the Free limit?
Git identities (profiles) and pinned repositories. Free includes 3 identities and up to 3 pinned repositories per identity. Repositories you only scan don't count, and rules, SSH keys, credentials, and everything else are unlimited on every plan.
I already use GitPersona. Will anything be locked?
No. Everything you set up before Pro launches keeps working on Free, including profiles and pinned repositories beyond the Free limits. The limits only apply to new ones.
What happens when Pro ends?
Nothing is deleted. You choose which 3 profiles stay active; the rest become read-only until you renew. Repositories already pinned keep their identity in .git/config.
Does Pro renew automatically?
No. Pro is prepaid for a month or a year, and you buy again to extend it. Renewing early adds to the time you have left, so you never lose days.
How many devices can use Pro?
Up to 3 per account. The desktop app and the CLI on the same machine count as one device. You can deactivate a device from Settings → Account.
Does Pro work offline?
Yes. GitPersona checks your license in the background and keeps Pro active for up to 30 days without a connection.
Can I use Pro with only the CLI?
Yes. Run gitpersona login to sign in, gitpersona upgrade to buy, and gitpersona plan to see your plan. Signing in on the CLI also signs in the desktop app on that machine.
Which price list applies to me?
The Indonesia price list is for buyers in Indonesia and is paid with Indonesian payment methods, such as local e-wallets. Cards aren't accepted on it. Everyone else pays the International price, which accepts cards. You choose when you check out.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. You can get a full refund within 7 days of purchase, for any reason. See the Refund Policy.
Prices are in Indonesian rupiah (IDR) and are final, with no tax or fees added at checkout. USD amounts are estimates; if your card is billed in another currency, your bank converts the charge and may add a fee. Payments are processed by DOKU.
